DIRECTV 25,000 AAdvantage Miles

DIRECTV 25,000 AAdvantage Miles

American Airlines and DIRECTV are once again teaming up to offer a 25,000 mile bonus for signing up. To be fair, this promotion (and others) comes and goes quite often, but if you are in the market for television service then this may be something to consider.

The current offer of 25,000 bonus AAdvantage miles expires on 5/27/15. In order to earn the miles you must sign-up through this page and get the SELECT package or higher for service and commit to a two year contract.

Other Offers

Here is a list of other sign-up offers that I have found:

  • United MileagePlus has a 25k offer as well. You can find the details here.
  • Hilton HHonors is offering 2 free weekend nights. Details here.

My Experience

I signed up with a similar offer about 1 1/2 years ago since I was already planning on getting DIRECTV. Since signing up I have been happy and the company even gave me a bunch of freebies and $200 to keep the service when I moved back in January.

Sometimes these special offer pages have been known to have higher offers, but I checked and the pricing seems to be the same everywhere. All of the packages seem to come with 2015 NFL Sunday Ticket, a Free Genie HDDVR and HBO, Showtime, Cinemax & Starz free for three months.

Conclusion

It definitely is a tough decision to choose between two free weekend nights or 25,000 miles. The great thing is you do have a choice and the pricing seems to be the same for all three offers. If I find any other deals I will update this post!
