Target will run it’s annual sale on Apple gift cards for a whole week during Black Friday. For one day, you will be able to get a bonus of 20%, plus another 5% off for those who have a Target REDcard.
Starting Sunday, November 22, and running through November 28, You will get a $20 Target gift card with the purchase of a $100 Apple Gift card. This offer will be valid in stores and at Target.com. There’s a limit one per guest, but you should be able to do it once online and once in store at least.
Conclusion
This works out to a 20% discount if you buy Apple gift cards with your Target REDcard, and if you take the $20 bonus at face value. You can also use your Discover it card this quarter to earn 5% on these purchases.

Note redcard only takes off $4 (4%) of the $100, presumably counting the $20 promo against your total. Orders placed, but no cards delivered yet, despite claiming within 4h.
It may be better to use a Discover card for the 5% rewards
Since redcard is uncapped (in theory), I’ll probably liquidate Discover through other channels; no reason to burn the 5% on something I’m already getting 4% in.
