  1. Hi,
Love your videos and commentary. Look forward to both videos each week.
In this episode you started with the Luxor video and how it was built in 16 months. You mentioned that when it opened they had a water/boat ride inside.
In 1994 I visited the Luxor and took that ride. During the ride the boat would go towards a wall of water that would turn off as the boat approached. The “skipper” of the boat would act like he/she did not know it was there and would “rely” upon the riders to inform him/her of the water.
When I was taking the boat ride the Luxor apparently had a leak above the casino floor as there was water pouring down on slot machines just as the boat was approaching the wall of water. As the passengers were commenting on water the “skipper” was a little confused that everyone was pointing in the wrong direction. There was so much confusion that the “skipper” lost track of his place in the script and had to hurry to make the right arm movements and words, all while trying not to show shock at the impromptu waterfall in the casino.
