Today’s MtM Vegas Video
This week Durango unveiled their website along with pictures of all of their 200 rooms. While the rooms look stunning, the prices are kind of stunning as well. What do we have to look forward to when the newest casino resort in Las Vegas opens in just over a month?
In other news more renovations are happening as Silverton has brought their impressive new rooms online while Sunset Station has announced a massive refresh of their casino floor. We also discuss the new Squid Games slot machines, the strange Halloween event at Resorts World, Luxor’s interesting construction and why a casino has to pay a jackpot winner even though he was trespassing.

Hi,
Love your videos and commentary. Look forward to both videos each week.
In this episode you started with the Luxor video and how it was built in 16 months. You mentioned that when it opened they had a water/boat ride inside.
In 1994 I visited the Luxor and took that ride. During the ride the boat would go towards a wall of water that would turn off as the boat approached. The “skipper” of the boat would act like he/she did not know it was there and would “rely” upon the riders to inform him/her of the water.
When I was taking the boat ride the Luxor apparently had a leak above the casino floor as there was water pouring down on slot machines just as the boat was approaching the wall of water. As the passengers were commenting on water the “skipper” was a little confused that everyone was pointing in the wrong direction. There was so much confusion that the “skipper” lost track of his place in the script and had to hurry to make the right arm movements and words, all while trying not to show shock at the impromptu waterfall in the casino.
Wow that must have been a crazy moment! Too bad the boat ride didn’t last. It was a strange concept but definitely quirky.
