8% eBay Bucks
eBay has another eBay Bucks offer available for buyers and sellers. It’s not as good as the last one we saw. Check here if you’re targeted, before you go any further.
The Offer
Earn 8% in eBay Bucks on every qualifying item when you buy, or earn 10% on the value of the items you sell. No minimum purchase/sale amount.
- Users who purchase eligible items between 5:00AM PT on March 17, 2017 and 11:59PM PT on March 19, 2017 (the “Purchase Earn Period”) will earn the promotional offer.
- Users who list and sell eligible items between 5:00AM PT on March 17, 2017 and 11:59PM PT March 26, 2017 (the “Selling Earn Period”) will also earn the promotional offer. Must sell items by March 26 to earn eBay Bucks worth 8% of the total sales price—up to $100. Rewards will be deposited into your eBay Bucks account by March 31.
Rewards are capped at $100 per transaction and $500 per quarter.
Exclusions
Qualifying purchase or items listed for sale excludes all items in the following categories: Classifieds, Business & Industrial, but only for Heavy Equipment within that category, Real Estate, Gift Cards & Coupons (including eBay Gift Cards, Gift Cards, and Digital Gifts within that category), Bullion (within the Coins & Paper category), and all categories in Motors, except Parts & Accessories.
Conclusion
It’s good to see these offers for seller since the buying offers are not as enticing since eBay gutted their eBay Bucks program by excluding gift cards and lowering cashback rate from 2% to 1%. The buying part has come around every few weeks lately, but this offer includes a nice bonus for sellers as well.
This is a targeted offer, so check your accounts to see if you’re eligible. Make sure you see the “buy or sell” offer, because there’s also another version of the offer that give 8% eBay Bucks to buyers only.
Don’t forget to go through a shopping portal. BeFrugal has the best rate right now at 1.2%.

As with the last ebay bucks offer, there are 2 separate offers – one for just buying and one for both buying/selling. It seems like the buying/selling one is more targeted.
Thanks for reminder Jason, I’ll add that.
