How to Maximize

This discount is good on almost everything on eBay including merchant gift cards. While there isn’t a great selection of discounted gift cards right now, I’m sure many of you will be able to find something given the overall discount. You can also use iConsumer for even more cashback.

Sooner Rather Than Later

In the past flash sales have reached their capacity before the published expiration time, however the past few haven’t had that issue. Either way, I will personally be buying soon rather than waiting until later in the afternoon just in case the code reaches its redemption limit.

  1. System wouldn’t allow me to buy any PPDG eBay gc, not even a $15 one. However, I was able to get to the final checkout buying $75 worth of Staples gc from PPDG so I’m not encountering any velocity limits.

    Seems they’re not allowing any eBay gift cards to by purchased from PPDG. Experienced the same problem on my wife’s account. I’m sure it’s YMMV but just a random observation that may (hopefully not) become hard coded as time goes on. EBay has basically neutered the ability to buy eBay e-gift cards online with the $25 cap. Appears their strategy to remove the $5k/180 day rule has caused them to shift strategies to protect themselves (and prevent us maximizing value).
