$5 Off $50 eBay Gift Cards

Gyft is offering $5 off $50 eBay gift cards with the promo code EBAY50. (Limit 3 per household.) This is part of a limited inventory flash sale that is scheduled to run through 9pm Pacific, although the last time they ran a similar promotion it sold pretty quickly.

I have had success going through Top Cashback in the past and using promo codes. Top Cashback is paying an additional 2% for purchases from Gyft (as is BeFrugal and Simply Best Coupons), so you may be able to pad your savings a little bit more that way. You can find the full terms of the deal here.

Up to 17% Off Target Gift Cards on eBay

GiftCardMall is offering Target physical gift cards at a discount on eBay. The following products are on sale:

While that is a decent deal overall, many people have been targeted to receive 4X eBay Bucks today. You can also go through a portal for 1.2% more (Shop at Home is supposedly paying 2%, but I have never used them). All together, when everything is combined it works out to be almost 17% off on the $200 card and 14% off on the $100 cards.

Combining the Deals

Update: Several people have mentioned that their Gyft eBay gift cards were active immediately so it should be easy to combine the deals.

You can try to combine these deals to save even more money, however note that it does take some time for eBay gift cards to activate. Gyft says it can take up to 4 hours, however my experience is that it takes up to an hour or so. Keep in mind if you plan to wait, that you risk seeing the Target deal die, since it will most likely be very popular.

Conclusion

For me, purchasing eBay gift cards at a discount is a no-brainer since I have found so many uses for them. I have already purchased my cards from Gyft and plan to pickup some Target cards as well with other eBay gift cards I have lying around. All in all a good way to save before heading out on vacation!
