American Express has a new offer for Amex Platinum cardholders that will save you $150 on bookings at Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection. This is an offer that will stack with the $200 annual credit for Platinum cardholders. So it will results in a $350 discount.

The Offer

Get a one-time $150 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $800 in one or more transactions on prepaid hotel bookings with Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection properties with American Express Travel by 12/17/2021.

Only U.S.-issued Consumer Platinum® Cards, Business Platinum® Cards, Centurion® Cards and Business Centurion® Cards are eligible.

Conclusion

This is a decent discount, but it works best for Amex Platinum cardholders who still need to use their $200 credit. Some people still have an additional $200 credit for eligible travel purchases through American Express Travel that must be used by December 31.
