The Guy Who Owns MoviePass Says Losing Money Was the Plan All Along – Vice
I know we have a lot of Moviepass fans in here. This was a pretty interesting read. My BS detector is going off while reading it but it makes a little bit of sense. They have been making some positive changes lately, adding a family plan etc. But some people still think Sinemia is a better fit.
Don’t book multiple Southwest reservations on the same day – Frequent Miler
This is some good advice. I can see doing it further out to lock in a price but to wait until the day of or before is way too extreme. I can’t blame Southwest for it and it is a good way to get your Rapid Rewards account shut down. Remember that Southwest’s newer change policies are more restrictive as well.
Las Vegas hotel room of slain tourists had broken door latch, warrant says – Las Vegas Review Journal
Remember to ALWAYS dead bolt your door as well whenever you are traveling. Or even when at home for that matter.
Credit Card Issuers: Global Entry Is Not a Game-Changing Benefit – Running with Miles
Charlie came to a similar conclusion as I did in my article earlier this week. Let’s stop pumping this up like this is a perk. It’s not – I have 10+ cards that have this perk and I will never use almost all of them. I agree with Charlie, start adding something meaningful issuers!
Business-Class Fliers Are Filching All That Fancy Airline Swag – Wall Street Journal
Maybe they just need to start including the items in the pricing if so many people are taking things. Although if the Saks blankets are that amazing I don’t think the $65 asking price is over the top. And I would definitely take those VA salt and pepper shakers…those things are awesome! Thanks to reader Pauline for sharing the link. If you can’t get it to open (no subscription) go through their Facebook page.
