Two Gift Cards Deals at Kroger: 4X Fuel Points on Visa, Mastercard and Other Brands
Kroger and its affiliates have two separate offers available that can earn you 4x fuel points for Visa, Mastercard and other third party gift cards. Let’s check the details.
The Offers
- Get 4x fuel points on $100, $50, and $25 denomination Visa and Mastercard gift cards. Expires 4/3/2018.
- Get 4x fuel points when you buy participating gift card. Expires 4/4/2018.
Key Terms
- Must load offer and use your Kroger store card
- Fuel redemption offer cannot be combined with any other discounts
- Unlimited Use
Possibly Stack Offers
Check your accounts here to see if you have both offers for Kroger or any of its affiliates. In the past it has happened occasionally that if you had both offers, they would stack for a total of 8X fuel points, but I don’t think that’s been the case lately. Still worth testing it out, so make sure you load both offers to your account. There’s also another coupon for travel gift cards that expires today, but I don’t think it’s showing on all account.
Conclusion
These are good offers that can get you cheap gas. For every 1,000 points you get $1 off per gallon on your fill up of up to 35 gallons, but keep in mind that the points expire in a month. The third party gift card offer should include most brands. Also make this deal better by using a card that gets you the most rewards at grocery stores and supermarkets.

When you talk about stacking, you just mean buying a $100 VISA gift card and both the Visa/MC coupon AND the regular gift card coupon applying 4X points, right? Because I’m thinking you could also just buy a $100 Visa GC (plus the stupid activation fee) and turn right around and buy another $100 card using that VISA GC to net 800 points for $100 out of pocket. Wonder if the activation fee also counts toward the fuel points?
So the variable card for $500 won’t trigger?
No, only the specific denominations mentioned on the Visa or Mastercard GC’s.
