Gifting Hilton Honors Elite Status Just Got Easier
Hilton Honors has the option to gift elite status to another member of the loyalty program. But normally, in order to be able to gift status to someone, you need to have 60 or more nights at Hilton hotels in a calendar year.
Hilton is now expanding this benefit for elite members will be be able to gift status without needing to complete the annual night requirement.
The Offer
Hilton Honors is extending a one-time opportunity to its global Diamond and Lifetime Diamond members. Beginning next week until January 31, 2021, these elite members will be able to gift status for one year to a family member or friend.
Hilton Diamond members can gift Hilton Honors Gold to a person of their choosing and Lifetime Diamond members can gift Diamond status. More details about how to participate in this promotion will be provided next week.
Hilton Elite Status
As a Hilton Honors member, you’ll receive exclusive perks when you stay at our more than 5,900 hotels around the world. When you sign up you start as a basic Member, and then there’s Silver, Gold, Diamond and Lifetime Diamond. You can see the benefits below.
To earn Gold status you need 20 stays, 40 nights annually or 75,000 base points. For Diamond you need 30 stays or 60 nights or 120,000 base points. Besides the annual requirements, you can also earn Hilton Elite Status with American Express Hilton Cards. The no-fee Amex Hilton card gets you Silver, Amex Hilton Surpass gets you Gold and the Amex Hilton Aspire gets you Diamond.
Conclusion
