I am on the road today doing one of the things that I love the most. I am riding roller coasters at the amazing Silver Dollar City amusement park in Branson!

Miles to Memories has been on BoardingArea/Prior2Boarding for about three months now and has enjoyed great growth and success. I want to say thank you to all of my readers.

This week Miles to Memories was featured on the BoardingArea homepage and the response has been tremendous. In celebration of that, I am giving away a $50 American Airlines e-gift card.

To enter the contest, leave a comment here telling me which post from the last week you like the most. You can throw in a link if you want.

You can also earn a second entry by following me on Twitter and tweeting @milestomemories with your favorite post. Don’t forget to include #MTMAA.

This giveaway is not sponsored, but is just a way for me to give back to my awesome readers. The contest goes through 11:59pm Pacific time on Monday September 1, 2014. A winner will be randomly drawn and contacted. Final determination of eligibility and the winner is at my sole discretion.

  1. Your redeye story! Just finished a trip to Asia with my boyfriend and I had a ton of trouble sleeping on our redeye flights. Similarity, because of last minute planning and somewhat inflexible dates, we took a total of 8 flights when it could’ve been 2… definitely reevaluating the number of segments and redeyes I am willing to take for future trips!

  2. Love your review last week of the Park Hyatt Tokyo!

The review has made me very excited about our upcoming stay there this December.

    Great review, BTW! 🙂

  3. The travel hacking article was interesting, although I don’t believe the lines are as clear as the original author Chris Elliott claims.

  4. Converting my Bluebird (ah, I pine for the good old CVS days) to Serve (although I need to get a new SIM card for my Samsung Galaxy S4 in order to take advantage of the $1,500 per month higher limit). Thanks for the heads up!

  5. Switching from BB to Serve! I switched to Serve ISIS a couple of months ago, and the extra $1500 in credit card and $1500 in debit card loads are AWESOME for MS!

  6. My fave from this week was regarding the American Casino Guide. I’m headed to Vegas soon and am happy you gave me a way to save some cash!

  7. Without doubt, for me it was “$18k Free Spending With Serve & How To Switch Over From Bluebird” – I am *finally* getting and will make the switch! Thanks!

  8. Definitely your detailed thoughts on medellin- I’m planning a trip to Colombia soon and was on the fence on if I should spend some time in medellin while there, but you 100 percent sold me! Really useful tips on things to do there as well.

  9. I liked the Serve article.. explained a lot of the differences from Bluebird. I am coasting so well with my bluebird account now.

I only just begun this quest for miles a couple of months ago and opened Bluebird for both myself and my husband, then only a few weeks in the whole VGC fiasco hit. Now I think I should switch at least one of us to Serve, this is the second month (accounts only opened in June) we both have maxed out GC deposits and payment limits. Seems to happen for us about the 22-25th and we have to wait. Is Serve on a Calender Month or a Rolling month?

BTW glad to hear you love roller coasters! Defiantly check out the coasters at Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio!

    • Thank you Julianne! I am glad that the article helped. When you are new it can be hard to as a beginner to sort through all of the information out there.

I have been to King’s Island a couple of times. I love The Beast! It is amazing at night.

  10. The article. On serve. I need to go back and read it again so I can close my bluebird account and sign up for serve.

  11. I really liked your post on switching from Bluebird to Serve. I’d been hesitant to do that because I know Bluebird, but your post convinced me!

  12. I liked ‘Report: U.S. Hotels To Take In $2.25 Billion In Ancillary Fees In 2014 & How To Avoid Them’ the best.

  13. I liked the review of Hotel D. Most Vegas reviews are of hotels on the strip, interesting to see a review of one downtown.

  14. I liked the post about the Park Hyatt in Tokyo. Perfect timing as I was looking for a place this fall and decided to book there. Thanks.

  15. I really enjoyed the post about your recent trip to Medellin, Colombia. I have always been wanting to visit, and this post really inspired me to go ahead and lock it in (which I did!). Thanks!
