Hard Rock International dropped some big Mirage news this week with an announcement that construction likely won’t begin on the transition until 2025. In the mean time they have also began an initiative to attract local customers by offering status, special discounts and free parking to anyone with a Nevada ID. Is this a smart pursuit or will it ultimately fail?

In other news we learned that MGM Rewards has some terms that may prohibit high rollers from earning points. Will they enforce it? We also discuss the approval of MGM Osaka, Jose Andres’ two new Vegas restaurants, the removal of water features at NYNY & Excalibur plus how Strat’s paid parking is even worse than we thought.
