Hilton Now Lets You Book Confirmed Connecting Rooms

Hilton has made an improvement to the booking process when it comes to large groups or families. The hotel chain has introduced a new booking option that allows individuals to easily book and instantly confirm at least two connecting rooms. It’s called Confirmed Connecting Rooms by Hilton, and it started to roll-out globally and will be available when booking on Hilton.com or through the Hilton Honors app at participating hotels within any of the portfolio’s 18 world-class brands. This concept was originally engineered by Hilton’s new urban lifestyle hotel brand, Motto by Hilton.

“The idea for Confirmed Connecting Rooms by Hilton came straight from our guests, who told us they wanted more flexibility in their travel space and experience,” said Tripp McLaughlin, global head, Motto by Hilton. “It’s exciting to see how an innovation created for one Hilton brand can help eliminate the hassle of coordinating travel for friend and family groups across our entire family of brands.”

For larger families, friend groups, wedding attendees and other travel parties, there have always been many benefits to staying in connecting guest rooms, but the booking process wasn’t always seamless. It’s strange that this was so hard to do in the past. If you wanted  connecting rooms, you would have to make a request when booking and then, many times, follow-up with both calls and emails. However, in most cases, could only be confirmed when checking in at the hotel. And that was if any such rooms were available.

How it Works

Now guests ca book and instantly confirm connecting rooms in three easy steps:

  1. Select number of desired rooms, along with the destination and dates, and choose your hotel
  2. When selecting a room, check the box to indicate interested in connecting rooms
  3. Select each connecting room at the desired rates, and book the stay with instant confirmation

Conclusion

This new booking option makes the whole process of booking connecting rooms much easier. Confirmed Connecting Rooms will be offered at all 18 of Hilton’s brands. Motto, where the program was originally engineered, even has an expanded connecting room concept where guests can book up to nine connecting room configurations for group travel.

  1. I may be wrong, but dont most connecting rooms have one king size (or maybe 1 queen) and the connecting room is 2 doubles (or 2 queens). That is the setup we had every time when the kids were younger. I didnt think you could book (in one booking) 2 different bed setups (1 room King and 1 room 2 queens) – but maybe it is because I am doing it wrong. Or maybe Hilton found a way around it. I will explore on hilton.com but that is a good upgrade to their system that they did if it works. Thanks for the post !!
