Hilton Los Cabos Mistake Rate
Update: It appears this deal is dead. Congratulations to those who got in on it and we will see if Hilton decides to honor the bookings.
The Hilton Los CabosĀ is currently offering the Premier King Suite for only 279 points per night. This is an obvious mistake and there is a risk your reservation may not be honored.
Also, people are booking up the rooms very fast so availability is disappearing quickly. I personally was able to book a room for the last two weeks of August, 2015. Others have had success in other months.
Act quick. This won’t last long.

I was luckily enough to book this deal in august and September. Received confirmation from Hilton confirming me in a “King Premier Time Share” room. Is this the suite being mentioned? Thanks!!
Yes that is the same suite I am booked in!
I am baffled when experienced bloggers use the term mistake fare or rate. This can only hurt and can come back to bite us later in regulatory or legal proceedings. Post about it if you have to but can you please not use the word mistake? The words special or very low work the same
Thanks for the notice! Booked a 3-night stay in January 20 minutes ago, but now it looks like no more availability remains (someone over at One Mile at a Time said they booked FOURTEEN 7-day reservations). If it does get honored, my only concern is that they would charge the taxes and fees based on the $3,500 amount that the room usually goes for.
When do you ever pay taxes and fees on a points reservation?
Some hotels still charge resort fees on points reservations. A good example of this is many of the hotels in Vegas. With that said, in my experience generally points bookings don’t incur any taxes or fees.
You don’t pay taxes when you pay with points…it’s all included.
looks like it’s gone now. thanks for the post!
