Hilton Suites Are Not Going Away For Diamond Members

The Hilton Honors loyalty program seems to have updated the benefits page for its Elite Status members, and initially, there was one interesting change for Diamond members. Maybe the page was not yet fully updated, but it hinted at suite upgrades going away for Diamonds.

If you have Diamond elite status you get space-available upgrades at eligible Hilton properties around the world, including suites. These cane some times double the price of a standard room, so it is a huge benefit. But it is not always honored and varies by property.

Loyalty Lobby noticed a change in the benefits and from images posted on that site, the suite upgrade was no longer included. But now the benefit is showing, so it should still be business as usual. You can see it here.

Conclusion

So it doesn’t seem that a change is coming after all. You can still hope to get your 1-bedroom suite on your next Hilton stay if you are a Diamond member.
