They are in CO also, just started opening up there, I opened up an account there personally in CO
Do you know what the early account closing fee is?
Huntington Banks are also in MN. Also, they suck real bad. I signed up last year for a $1000 checking offer and a $500 bonus for their business credit card, and it was a nightmare to get them to properly process and then honor the latter. They kept screwing up the offer and took 3 months to fix it and repeated calls to finally get them to accept that it was their fault and not mine. Now, their card it supposed to give x4 on certain categories, except that for the last 2 months, they only have been giving x1. Apparently, it’s a system-wide problem, they say, but in the course of 6-8 weeks, they have been unable to fix it. They are a total sh*tshow, and their CSRs all but admit it. When I closed my checking account and took the money over to Wells Fargo, the teller looked at the check from Huntington and without prompting said something like, “Oh, are they still having trouble over there?”
Yep. What he said.
Also, for MN and OH they require business creation paperwork for opening a Biz Account. No sole prop in name only to setup. Bank manager left that part out when it took me 3 weeks to even nail down a appointment with him alone to try for this bonus. It’s a hard bank imposed regulation, but still very restrictive requirement in light of bank competitors.
