1,000 Hyatt Bonus Points

Hyatt recently revamped their mobile app and website. They are now offering a great deal to encourage Gold Passport members to use them to make new bookings through the end of the year.

From October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 if you book a stay on their mobile app or website, Hyatt will give you 1,000 bonus points. Unlike some other programs where 1,000 bonus points aren’t worth much, this is actually a pretty decent incentive.

A Few Restrictions on the Hyatt Bonus

The kicker is that stays have to be booked and completed between the promotional dates (10/1-12/31). Stays which have already been booked will not earn the Hyatt bonus. For those people who already have upcoming stays reserved at a Hyatt, you may want to see if you can cancel & re-book them as long as your rate won’t significantly change.

There are a also few noteworthy restrictions to mention. Stays with Hyatt’s Mlife partners do not count towards this bonus. Also, since Points + Cash bookings cannot be done via the web, they unfortunately are out as well. Other than that, pretty much any booking made via their mobile website or app is eligible. You can find the fine print here.

Finally if you don’t have a smartphone or would prefer to book at your computer then there is a workaround. All you need to do is visit m.hyatt.com on your computer. I did a mock booking and went all the way through to the final screen on the mobile site in my desktop broswer. As far as the terms go, this should count towards earning the 1,000 Hyatt bonus points.

Conclusion

This is a fantastic Hyatt bonus which is stackable with all other promotions. I highly suggest downloading the app and keeping it front and center so you don’t forget to use it to book your next stay.
