Hyatt Credit Card Holders Can Get $50 Off $300 At Hyatt Place/Hyatt House

There is a new offer that was emailed out to Chase Hyatt and World of Hyatt card holders.  Chase will send these offers cardmember offers a few times per year.  This one is focused on Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels.  Let’s take a look at the deal.

Hyatt Credit Card Holders Offer

Terms of the Offer

The subject line of the email is, “Limited Time Offer: Earn $50 Back”.  The terms of the offer is as follows:

  • Register for this exclusive Cardmember offer October 1 – November 30, 2019.
  • Spend $300 or more directly with Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotels in the U.S. or Canada on your World of Hyatt or Hyatt Credit Card from October 1, 2019 through January 5, 2020.
  • You’ll get a $50 statement credit on your World of Hyatt or Hyatt Credit Card account.

I love Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels because they are usually tier one and tier two properties.  That means they often go for only 5,000-8,000 points per night.  With this deal I would be tempted to pay cash though.  That $50 off $300 can be a discount as good as 16% off plus the points you would normally earn.  I don’t think many Hyatt Place and House hotels sell gift cards but if they did I think that would trigger the credit but I am not 100% on that.

Even with the deal be sure to run the numbers because points may still be the better play if prices are inflated.

Final Thoughts

This is a good offer if you have upcoming stays at either brand.  Be sure to run the numbers and make sure it makes sense.  If you don’t already have the World of Hyatt card I highly recommend the card. It is the best hotel card on the market in my opinion.

  1. I’m a Hyatt fan, too. I’ve generally had the most consistent experience with their hotels, especially over the last few years. They always seems to run the best promos and deals, and their credit card is by far the best hotel card, IMO.
