Iberia Avios Sale, 25% Discount on Award Flight to Madrid

Iberia has a promotion that can save you Avios when you travel between Spain and a few US cities. Let’s take a look at the details.

The Offer

Use 25% less Avios when you book award flights on Iberia for travel between New York, Boston and Chicago in the US and Madrid, Spain. Flights must be booked by March 18th and travel must be completed between October 1st and December 15th, 2018.

Economy will cost you 12,750 Avios one way between New York/Boston/Chicago and Madrid. Business class will cost you twice as much, 25,500 Avios.

Conclusion

You can transfer Membership Rewards points and Ultimate Rewards now directly to Iberia Avios at a rate of 1:1. You can also transfer British Airways Avios to Iberia. So it should be fairly easy to get enough Avios for this promotion if you were looking to travel to Spain or even Europe. Unlike BA, Iberia doesn’t add crazy surcharges to award flights. You’ll be charged about €100 each way for Business class.
