IHG Hotels & Resorts Launches New Promotion for Summer Stays
IHG is offering One Rewards members extra bonus points on summer stays. The new promotion comes with two options, either 2,000 points on every two nights, or 10,000 points for every four nights. Check out the details below.
The Offer
Choose how you want to earn on unlimited nights through August 31, 2023 at IHG® Hotels & Resorts:
- Earn 2,000 points every 2 nights, or
- Earn 10,000 points every 4 nights
Before you proceed with registration, it’s crucial to look at the two options. Here’s the lowdown: If you opt for the 2,000 Points Offer, you’ll have the opportunity to earn 2,000 bonus points in the IHG One Rewards program each time you complete two Qualifying Room Nights within the designated promotion period. On the other hand, if you go for the 10,000 Points Offer, you’ll be eligible to earn a whopping 10,000 bonus points in the IHG One Rewards program for every four Qualifying Room Nights completed during the Promotion Period.
You can only register for one of these two offers. Once you’ve made your selection and registered, you’ll be exclusively eligible for the chosen offer. It means that you won’t be able to register for the other offer or receive any points under the alternative offer.

- The “Promotion Period” is from June 6, 2023 through August 31, 2023.
- By clicking the “click to register” button for the Promotion, a member is registering for either the 2,000 Points Offer or the 10,000 Points Offer (based on the one they have chosen) and is accepting these Terms and Conditions.
- To be a “Qualifying Room Night” under the Promotion, the room night must fall within the Promotion Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay.
- For the purposes of this Promotion, “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum 1-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) for each night.
- Participating hotels include all IHG® Hotels & Resorts and Mr and Mrs Smith properties, with the exception of those Six Senses® Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards. Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that are not yet fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards program also do not participate in this Promotion.
- Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion.

It’s always a good idea to register for these promotions even if there’s just a slight chance that you might stay at IHG properties. Otherwise you might forget about this offer and miss out on bonus IHG points.
