IHG has launched a new promotion that can get you top tier status in the IHG One Rewards program. This offer is likely meant to be targeted to a certain audience, but it is working for everyone. You can get Diamond status right away upon registration and then you can extend it for another year with 10 nights. Check out the details of the offer below, and register below it’s gone.
The Offer
IHG Straight to Diamond. Become a IHG Diamond simply by registering in the promotion page with your email or IHG One Reward number (promotional code 70027 is already applied).
You will be IHG Diamond until 12/31/2022. Stay 10+ nights before 12/31/2022 and you can extend the Diamond status until 12/31/2023.
Once you register, you will receive an email that confirms it. Then a few minutes later you should get a second email with subject “Congrats on reaching Diamond, <Name>!”. You can then check your account and should see the upgraded status.
IHG One Rewards Program
The new IHG One Rewards program launched early this year. You can see all the details here. You can also check out the benefits of each tier below, including your newly acquired Diamond Elite status.

I still have the diamond elite status from this challenge last year and I didn’t meet the qualifications to extend the status to 2023. Does anyone else still have it?
