Ireland Removes All COVID-19 Requirements and Restrictions

Ireland is removing all obstacles for visitors from around the world. Irish authorities have announced the removal of all pandemic-related travel restrictions and entry requirements.

Visitors no longer need to present proof of vaccination or recovery from the Coronavirus. They are also exempted from the requirement to fill in the Passenger Locator Form (PLF), SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

The rule change is already in effect as of March 6, and it applies to all travelers regardless of their country of origin.

“There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements for travelers to Ireland. Travel carriers will not ask to check a PLF receipt prior to traveling to Ireland. Any individual that develops Covid-19 symptoms while in Ireland should follow the HSE (Health Service Executive) guidance in relation to isolation and undertaking antigen or PCR testing as appropriate,” the Irish government said in a statement.

Ireland has also removed most COVID-19 restrictions domestically. The indoor mask mandate was officially dropped on February 28, although they are still recommended to be worn when taking public transportation and in healthcare settings. Those who test positive for COVID-19 are still asked to self-isolate.

In Ireland, 81% of residents have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and  80% are now fully vaccinated. Almost 57% have also received a booster shot.

  1. Perfect timing… flying in on Saturday! Now if only Brandon would drop the 24 hour test so we can fly back to our own country.

      • What are you talking about?!? Lockdowns and mandates did NOT work and only caused more pain and suffering for Americans and the entire globe…..protect the vulnerable and elderly with vaccines, promote new treatments, and let everyone else get on with life!!!!

Please explain how. When he shut down travel from China, and then from Europe, who said it was an overreaction? Pelosi Schumer and Brandon, that’s who. Trump expedited the vax development, which is the only thing any government has done to make a difference. All the shutdowns, mask mandates etc gave been ineffective and harmful. So please explain how exactly trump made it worse, because I don’t think you know, you’re just an orange man bad drone.
