Amazon Prime Day 2022 – Promos, Memberships, Coupons & Pay with Points Offers
Amazon Prime Day day is finally here, but I feel it gets more complicated every year. With so many deals, trials, offers and more it can get a bit confusing. I thought I would write this post to show you some of the offers available today that aren’t product related. Let’s take a look.

Amazon Pay With Points Deals & Discounts
Sometimes Amazon targets customers with “Pay with Points” offers that give big discounts. For example, I had the Amex Pay with Points offer linked below that gave me 40% off with a maximum discount of $40. I purchased a $100 Apple gift card for $60. The key here is you only need to redeem a minimum of 1 point with these offers, since redeeming points can often be a bad value.
Here is a list of current known Pay with Points offers. Make sure to click each of them to see if you are targeted. We have several family accounts and sometimes one is targeted when others aren’t, so it is worth trying all of your accounts.
- Chase – Get 50% off up to $15 when you shop with Chase Ultimate Rewards Expires 7/13/22 – Check if you are targeted
- Amex – Save up to 50% off when using Amex Membership Rewards – Check if you are targeted (Also check your Amex account to see if you have a 5X Amex Offer)
- Discover – Up to 40% off when using Discover Points – Check if you are targeted
Amazon Prime Card Increased Bonus
For Amazon Prime Day (and through July 29) they have upped the welcome offer on the Prime card to a $200 Amazon gift card. The normal offer only gives $200. This card earns 5% back at Amazon and Whole Foods and 6% back during Prime Day.
Money Savings Amazon Prime Day Promos
There are a few promos that will let you earn credit on Amazon or save even more.
- Get $20 off $20.01 when adding your Discover Card to Amazon (targeted)
- Get $30 for shopping in the Amazon app (targeted)
- Unlock $40 in Prime Day credits – Several ways to earn credits to use on Prime Day
- Save 25% on Amazon gift cards (Buy a $50 Amazon gift card and get a $12.50 promotional offer. Might as well right?)
- Get a $5 gift card when you make a purchase with Amazon Pay
- Get $10 by checking off four activity stamps
