This Week’s MtM Vegas Video

July 2022 Las Vegas visitor numbers are in and they show some interesting trends that impress in some ways and disappoint in others. What will the Fall look like for Vegas and will the increased spending come to an end?

In other news Las Vegas was voted as one of the rudest cities in America. Is it true? Plus the 50 foot showgirls are finished, Martha Stewart restaurant reviews are in at Paris Las Vegas, Cromwell has gaming cabanas and Mark Wahlberg is moving to town. We also take a tour of The Orleans casino and show you how to score a shot at getting Formula 1 tickets.

  1. Check your meds. Is anyone surprised that a city that encourages bad behavior has rude people? It’s about get rich quick. It’s about party hearty. It’s about “we bad, uh huh, we bad.” Why do you suppose the hotel nightclubs in Vegas have metal detectors?

  2. I’ll vote LV for rudest in the world. I thought NYC would be terrible, but I was pleasantly surprised, but LV people are all basically dead inside. Taxi and Uber drivers in LV are the worst in the world. You constantly have to be on guard for scams. The general tourist demographic isn’t much better. Anyone who stays there is guaranteed to devolve into the worst version of themselves. Honestly I’m happy to never go back. LV is basically just the worst of humanity in a few square miles.

  3. Being from the Midwest, specifically Michigan, people in Las Vegas are much friendlier. Comparing Shawn and Mark reinforces my point.
