Last Day to Transfer Amex Membership Rewards to Etihad Guest
If you’ve been considering transferring American Express Membership Rewards points to Etihad Guest, time is almost up. June 29, 2026 is the last day Amex cardholders will be able to transfer points to the airline’s loyalty program. After that, Etihad Guest will no longer be a Membership Rewards transfer partner.
The loss of Etihad is another blow to the Membership Rewards program, especially for travelers who used Etihad Guest to book premium cabin awards on Etihad or partner airlines. While the program has become less valuable over the years, it still offers some worthwhile redemption opportunities.
If you already have a specific redemption in mind and have confirmed award availability, now is the time to make your transfer. Otherwise, we always suggest avoiding speculative transfers. Once Membership Rewards points are converted to Etihad Guest miles, the transfer cannot be reversed.
