Laughlin Casino Tour

Laughlin, Nevada and it’s Strip of casinos sit just about 90 minutes from Las Vegas. The town sits right on the Colorado River just across from Bullhead City, Arizona and is a popular summer time hangout for water junkies. Retirees tend to fill the casinos and rooms the rest of the year.

Despite being a very small town, Laughlin has 10 hotels and over 10,000 rooms waiting for tourists. I visited here a few times when I was a kid and the town hasn’t changed all that much. The casinos have seemingly all gone through many owners and names, but Laughlin is still Laughlin. What does that mean? Let me show you!

Quirky Casinos, Brutal Sun & Old Casinos!

I recently headed out to the Laughlin Strip to walk around, head out on the water and see what the casinos are like. I tend to pass through Laughlin and Bullhead City a couple of times per year, but hadn’t stopped to look around for awhile. What I found is quite interesting!

This video is part 1 of 2. In this video we look at some of the quirky casinos and hotels, plus we dive a bit into the history of some of these properties. In part 2 coming next week we’ll get out on the water to see the entire Strip, plus we’ll look at the nicer hotels in Laughlin and the oldest one! True history right there!

Laughlin Casino Tour – Bottom Line

Laughlin is hot and not all that nice, but it does have some redeeming qualities and is unique nonetheless. I can’t wait to show you the city from the water in part 2 so make sure to look out for that next week! Have you ever been to Laughlin before? What is your favorite casino?

    • Yeah some of the types of charger I showed in the video (Tesla Destination Chargers) can be found in some casinos in their valets or garages. Also Linq has Tesla Superchargers which charge even faster and there are quite a few other spots around.

    • Very interesting video, but dude, you are being way too nice to those casinos. The rooms at Edgewater and Laughlin River Lodge are dumps. The only places in Laughlin I’d stay at again are Harrah’s and the Aquarius. The only problem is both suffer from thin wall syndrome, but both have adults-only towers if the noise is a bother.

Any chance you did a quick walk through Don Laughlin’s car collection?
