Marriott Cardholders, Earn Bonus Points with New Promotion

Marriott has lunched its previously announced promotion for credit card members, and it is underwhelming. It can be useful for those who are already putting spend on Marriott cards, and you can also get 200 free points. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

Eligible Card Members are invited to register by August 1, 2024, for this U.S. Card Member exclusive offer:

  • Earn 200 bonus points just for registering.
  • Earn 10,000 bonus points after you spend $7,000 or more on eligible purchases on your Card by September 21, 2024.

Have more than one Marriott Bonvoy® Credit Card? Register your eligible Cards to earn a bonus on each.

Conclusion

I don’t think anyone will be rushing to spend $7,000 on their Marriott card just to earn a bonus of 10,000 points. That’s less than an additional 1% cash back. But if you plan on spending that much on your cards, then definitely go ahead and register for the extra points.

Plus  this offer gives you 200 free points just for enrolling. That could be worth doing regardless.
