A new lie flat bus service between Los Angeles and San Francisco? While these types of things don’t tend to be popular in the U.S., we have taken sleeper buses in a few countries including Vietnam and China.
Let’s just say I am a bit taller than the average person in those countries and it was not a pleasant experience for me. Thankfully this new service seems to be a bit more spacious and comfortable. Tempting just for the experience.

Richard @thepointsjock keeps saying how good Etihad miles can be, so I know I need to learn more about booking with this program. They are also a transfer partner of Citi ThankYou and SPG so other than Singapore, they have about the easiest miles to acquire. More study is needed.
A fascinating read about the travel life of sportswriters and how they become “experts” at travel and loyalty programs. There are certainly other professions which require as much travel, but this is definitely a unique one and from the sounds of the article, an exhausting one.
