New Amex Platinum Entertainment Credit Partners

American Express announced today a huge improvement to the $240 Digital Entertainment Credit benefit that was recently added to the Amex Platinum card. This was one of the perks that was announced when the annual fee was increased to $695.

Enrolled U.S. Consumer Platinum Card members can already earn up to $20 per month in statement credits on eligible purchases directly from Audible, Peacock, Sirius XM, and The New York Times, after they pay with their Card.

Now, starting April 6th, there are four additions. That includes Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu, and even the The Disney Bundle.

The Disney Bundle actually includes subscriptions to Disney+, ESPN+, and the Hulu plan you select for a discounted price. The Disney Bundle is available with Hulu (with ads) for $13.99/month or with Hulu (no ads) for $19.99/month.

This update to the Digital Entertainment Credit benefit will allow Platinum Card Members to enjoy some of this year’s most anticipated shows, and movies including:

  • Disney+: Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red,” the documentary film “OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film),” and Marvel Studios’ “Moon Knight,” with the opportunity to discover new releases throughout April and May including “Explorer: The Last Tepui,” Disneynature’s “Polar Bear,” “The Biggest Little Farm: The Return,” and new weekly episodes of “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
  • Hulu: Recent Originals including “The Dropout,” “Deep Water,” “Life & Beth,” and “The Girl from Plainville.”

  1. For anyone interested, similarly, Amex Delta Platinum has an offer to reimburse $13.99/mo for Hulu/Disney good through 8/2022. Until then I am also getting Peacock and NYT.

  2. Are there any ways to use this credit with annual subscriptions? I have over a year left on my Disney+ and annual to XM. Not terribly interested in the rest (other than I already have $6/mo NYT which uses some.
