  1. Not totally on topic, but a heads up for those that bought the SWA gift cards with the 50th anniversary promo using the Chase SWA card. . I made the $100 purchase on 6/11 not far after midnight EST (12:45AM). I kept checking for the 5,000 mile bonus. Well after the 8 weeks I called to check on it. I then noticed that they had dated the charge 6/10. I knew I did it after midnight and had the confirmation email. When I called Chase they claimed I did it on 6/10, but they would forward it higher. About 10 days later I got a letter that they confirmed it was done on 6/11 and would issue the bonus with the next
statement. If I hadn’t noticed and pursued it I would have been out 5,000 miles for sure.
