Are These Offers Better
These are different types of offers for Amex Delta credit cards. They encourage more spending for delta flights, and can get you half price fares.
The Gold Delta card offer is probably not worth it for most people as the miles offered is 30,000 lower than their normal offer. Most people will value 30,000 Skymiles over $300.
But the Platinum Delta credit card offer bets you 50,000 SkyMiles and up to $500 in statements credits. That’s definitely an offer worth considering if you can maximize the statement credit part. The highest offer we have seen is 75,000 on the personal and 80,000 on the business version. Those did come with a much easier to hit $100 statement credit after one Delta purchase. Do you value $400 more than 25-30,000 Delta Skymiles? I think some might. I also think a Delta gift card purchase should trigger the statement credit but that is just speculation on my part.
One thing is for sure, these offers are only good for people who have paid travel on Delta already planned.
