Offers for Lyft Rentals

Lyft Rentals is a car rental service by Lyft that launched a couple of years ago. It claims to offer a streamlined experience, eliminating paperwork and wait times, so you can just pick your car up and go.

Now there’s also a Citi Merchant Offer that ill save you 20% on your rental, and SimplyMiles will give you an additional 9X AAdvantage Miles for every dollar you spend. Let’s take a look at these two offers.

The Offers

  • Citi Merchant Offer: Get 20% back on your first Lyft Rental. Up to $50 back.
  • SimplyMiles: Earn 9x miles per $1 spent (up to 2325 miles) on your first Lyft Car Rentals when using your Mastercard.

Both offers are valid through July 31, 2022.

Conclusion

By stacking these two offers, you should be able to get a decent deal on a car rental from Lyft. I have never rented from them myself. But, I did a quick search for rentals at JFK, and their prices seem to be in line with other rental companies.

The SimplyMiles offer can be maximized with a $258 purchase. But the Citi Merchant Offer can be maximized with a $250 purchase where you would save $50.

Please let us know in the comments if you have rented a car from Lyft.
