I think Nevada and other states that have legalized Marijuana have really dropped the ball on the why this recreational drug needs to have a place in sin city. Why some of the older hotels haven’t added “Rec Rooms” is beyond me! Maybe when they realize these conventions will never be back like they once were they will go back to focusing on how to revive the businesses but after the pandemic they had to get creative on how to keep businesses going by tools like zoom and they saved money by avoiding air travel and hotel prices and liked the quickness and effectiveness of not adding business with pleasure. Hotels have so many hidden fees and flights are the highest I have seen in many many years!
Time for Vegas to go back to the basics and be that affordable weekend away fir ADULTS like it was built on and save the city from dying like Atlantic City has. I live in Illinois and use to visit Vegas 3-5 times a year now we can gamble in every bar, gas station, or mini casino in town. I live a half block from the bar so we start there and move to my house to get buzzed and usually end up staying so why go to Vegas and deal with other people’s kids and pay outrageous extras I don’t use in a hotel!
Casinos are gonna die with Biden’s inflation anyway
