PenFed Pathfinder Card Fee No Longer Waived for Honors Advantage Members

PenFed is making a negative change to the PenFed Pathfinder® Rewards Visa Signature® Card. Beginning September 28, 2026, the card’s $95 annual fee will no longer be waived for Honors Advantage members.

Honors Advantage status can be earned through military affiliation or by maintaining a qualifying PenFed checking account, allowing many cardholders to effectively carry the Pathfinder with no annual fee.

The card still includes up to $100 per year in domestic airline credits, up to $120 toward Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. That’s a sweet deal for a no-fee card.

The annual fee change makes the card less compelling, especially for people who primarily kept it because the $100 airline credit.
