Prime Pantry $5 Credit
Back in March Amazon began offering Prime members the ability to choose no rush shipping in exchange for a $6 credit for their Prime Pantry service. At that time I took the credit and ordered a few things to test out the service. While it was alright, I found I spent too much time trying to find items that were a decent value and thus haven’t used it again.
For Prime Pantry fans or those who are looking to try it out, I noticed that the “No Rush” credit option has returned. This time instead of a $6 credit, they are only offering $5. Basically it is enough to offset most of the $5.99 shipping fee. If you are a Prime member, you should see the option when checking out for most items.
Best Buy Black Friday in July
Best Buy is getting in on the Black Friday phenonmenon and is holding a huge sale today. What interested me was the price of iPads.
- Apple – iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB 374.99
- Apple – iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 64GB $474.99.
- Apple – iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 128GB $574.99
If you are interested in reselling, these are very good prices and much lower than what these products sell for on Amazon. (They are good prices for personal use too.) You could also purchase Best Buy gift cards with your synced Amex cards and save even more. You can find all of the items on sale here. Don’t forget to also go through a portal and remembering reselling can be a pain.

For anyone looking at the iPads, check out B & H photo. I purchased and iPad Air 128gb (2nd generation) with cellular service (that I don’t use). It works great and it was $449 on a daily deal a couple of weeks ago. They have a few on the site and there is one for $449 right now. I know that you are not getting the best buy $25 credit but this is an awesome price.
Is the B& H photo sale on iPads still available? I don’t see the price you described on their website.
This is the link to the iPad that I got from B&H. Mine came with a case/cover and screen protector as part of their daily deal. $449 shipped. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1011267-REG/apple_mf028ll_a_128gb_ipad_air_sprint.html
Thanks for sharing. Just to be clear for everyone, the Best Buy deal is for the 2nd generation iPad Air and the B&H deal that Kathy has linked to is for the 1st generation. It is still a decent price considering the capacity though. I just don’t want anyone to be confused.
Hey Shawn, when i bought the iPad from B & H, I noticed that it didn’t mention which generation it was in the ad. I called them before I purchased it and they told me it was a 2nd generation. I may have been told wrong information, I’m not really tech savvy. 🙂 I like that it is a 128mb, it has the retina display, and it has the camera. It works great. Also, before I bought it, i printed a screen sale of the iPad and took it to my local Best buy to see if they would match it. The manager said they didn’t carry it anymore but he confirmed that it was a great price and encouraged me to buy it. He also told me that it was a 2nd generation. Like I said, I don’t know all the tech stuff, but I love my new iPad. Before buying this one, I had the very first version, slow, and no camera.
That is fantastic and as someone who once owned a first generation iPad, I know how much you are enjoying that step up. The first iPads were great for their time, but they were slow and heavy. The new ones are so sleek and the screens are beautiful.
