Capital One Ends Valuable Priority Pass Benefits for Venture X Cardholders
Capital One has quietly made a change to the terms of the popular Capital One Venture X Rewards credit card. The issuer will soon remove a benefit that’s valuable at select airports around the country.
Starting next year, the Priority Pass membership that is complimentary with the card, will lose access to airport restaurants and some other perks. Here’s the update to the terms on the Venture X card page:
This is a very useful credit in some airports, especially for restaurants that are part of Priority Pass. You can normally enjoy up to $25 or $30 per person in complimentary dining expenses at eligible airport restaurants. Plus there are other things such as spa experiences and sleeping rooms that come in handy for frequent travelers. If you often take advantage of these offerings, that your card will definitely lose some value with this change.
But, overall, the Venture X card it still quite valuable. You will continue to have access to Capital One lounges and Plaza Premium lounges in addition to Priority Pass lounges. With a $395 fee which is lower that comparable cards from other issuers. You also get $300 in statement credits annually 10,000 bonus miles, which make up for that fee.

Capital One lounges? You mean the one and only lounge?
Devaluing before they even opened a second club. Capital one sucks!
Capital One sucks!! Restaurant benefit is why I got Venture X. Capital One is such a bait-and-switch company.
I am expecting you to reactivate my card to keep on going and growing with you.
