US Mint Coin Deals

New US Mint Coin Deals, $1K+ Profit Possible

We have covered coin deals in the past here on the site. These are usually U.S. Mint coins that can be sold for potentially a profit plus the miles or points earned on the purchase. Sometimes these coin deals are small, and other times the coins could cost several thousand dollars.

This week, two new coins will be released, and you can make a profit of $1,000 or more, depending on where you sell it. Let’s see the deal first and how you can make a profit from it.

Warning! Do not use an American Express for the purchase, they updated their terms recently and it is likely you would be billed as a cash advance.

Offer Details

On Thursday, November 5th at 12:00PM ET, the US Mint will be releasing two limited edition “End of World War II 75th Anniversary” coins. There’s an American Gold Eagle and an American Silver Eagle. Each has a purchase limit of one coin per household.

The cost of the V75 Silver coin will be $83.00 and the cost of the V75 Gold coin will be approximately $2,600.00 (exact price varies, but not by much, and will be released the day before). Each coin would need to be purchased as a separate Mint order and comes with a $4.95 shipping charge.

Profit!

This time, besides the free credit card spend, you can also make big profit. Through PFS Buyers Club for example you can get the following:

  • V75 Silver: $62.05 profit per coin.
  • V75 Gold: $1,000.05 (increased today from) $525.05 profit per coin.

I have used PFS Buyers Club in the past, and I have never had any issues. They have been around for a while and have always paid out quickly. But with that said, there are also other buyer clubs out there. Pointsmaker.com for example is offering a $950 commission for the V75 Gold coin. I haven’t dealt with them personally, but they have been around for a while as well.

Then you can also try your luck with selling the coin yourself. Usually you can sell for much more, especially if you know coins.

If you plan to go with PFS Buyers Club or any other clubs out there, make sure you sign up now and reserve a spot before buying the coins. They also provide tips and tricks on how to improve your chances at getting one of these coins.

Conclusion

A new U.S. Mint coin deal is coming and it will help you generate a very nice amount of spend. We’ll have more details including the exact price and Buyers Club options before it goes live, but for now set your calendar for Thursday!

The V75 Gold coin will have a mintage of only 1945 coins so it will be very difficult to get your hand on one. The V75 Silver on the other hand has a mintage of 75,000 so you should have a better chance.

  1. I got both coins but was wary of using an Amex card with the recent changes to their treatment of “cash or cash equivalents” as a cash advance and used a Chase Sapphire Preferred instead. For anybody who was successful and used an Amex card – did it come through as a purchase or cash advance?
To Heo Ung, I sold to PFS because I signed up for their offer on Monday and I keep my word. I have no knowledge of the coin market so would have been unaware of this deal without notification by PFS. I see the gold coin going for big sums on eBay but there was no guarantee that would happen and I’d like to keep my business long term with PFS. It’s safe and lucrative.

  2. I was IP blocked after trying to refresh a few times. One browser on a mobile phone. WTF. Congrats to those who got thru. My experience was a total CF.

  3. Gold coin was hard to buy. I had it in my cart but crash during checkout. I was able to buy the silver successfully. Can’t believe people are selling to PS buyer club when the market value on eBay is close to 10k.

  4. Looked like a total CF from here. Site was fine up until 20 minutes or so before then all manner of craziness and inability to access. Hats off to any that got through.

  5. I got a silver one but it took me constantly refreshing and retrying for about 50 minutes. This is the first time I have ever tried out purchasing for a buyer’s club. Pretty excited about my little profit. Maybe next time I will try for the bigger payout. Thanks for alerting me to the deal!

  6. two computers, 3 different browsers, two off of cable, one over air through verizon. ALL crash/lockup every time (and blocked on one computer)

  7. wow… I scored the gold coin! and a sliver one but oh boy… the site started crashing 20 minutes before… I had two browsers (chrome and firefox) and multiple tabs with staggered refreshes and they some how blocked my chrome after repeat refresh! I thought the block is IP based but firefox still worked thank god. I am still shocked as I never win anything like this.

    • I was totally confused. I was on there. I never saw a buy button. Only a remind button at 12 Noon EST. Then after refreshing we say something on the screen that said November 9. SO I have no idea what happened. My freind saw the same thing. I got an SMS that they were selling but never saw the button. I was logged in. God only knows what happened to me.

  8. Ugh. Website error. Had it in my cart, button to move forward to entering payment info wouldn’t work. Then I refreshed…it was sold out. Damn.
