American Airlines is offering some AAdvantage members the opportunity to refer friends and family members and earn bonus miles. Those who receive an email can earn up to 10,000 AAdvantage miles through referrals. Let’s look at the details.

Earn up to 10,000 AAdvantage® bonus miles when you refer friends to join the AAdvantage program.

Simply refer your friends, family and colleagues using the link in this email. You’ll earn 1,000 AAdvantage bonus miles for every person who joins and completes a qualifying activity before December 31, 2021. Plus, each person you refer who completes a qualifying activity will earn 1,000 AAdvantage bonus miles, too.

After signing up, the new AAdvantage member can complete one of these activities to qualify:

  • Book a trip with their new AAdvantage number
  • Add their new AAdvantage number to an existing booking

Conclusion

1,000 American Airlines miles are not a big deal. But, these are easy miles. So if you are targeted and have friends who plan to fly American soon, then it’s definitely worth referring them.

The person who signs up through the referral link must book a trip or add their new AAdvantage number to an existing booking.
