Resy And Amex Provide Free CLEAR Health Pass To All Resy Restaurants
Health Pass by CLEAR is coming to all Resy restaurants, free of charge thanks to a partnership between Resy and American Express. This will enable restaurants to monitor things like testing and vaccination requirements for employees and guests. It will operate on the CLEAR platform.
Resy is a technology platform owned by American Express. Started in 2014, is covers numerous restaurants and even has been included in promotional welcome offers on certain American Express credit cards.
CLEAR is known for its airport security screening programs. It currently has more than 7 million members and also facilitates access to certain venues and events across the U.S.
This new partnership is part of CLEAR’s “Come Back Better” initiative to help business remain open during changing pandemic-related requirements. 130+ organizations are already using CLEAR’s Health Pass to monitor compliance with vaccination and Covid testing requirements.
Now, all Resy restaurants will have free access to using the CLEAR Health Pass program through the end of 2022. This will allow them to not only use the program free of charge for customers (quickly checking compliance for any local in-person dining requirements), it will also allow them to monitor compliance with new testing/vaccination requirements for employees.
How does it work?
CLEAR Health Pass allows users to upload proof of vaccination or recent Covid test results, which can be verified. Users can also take health screening surveys online or in the app. Business can give their employees access accounts and receive updates on compliance.
Resy says the goal with this program is to provide a platform that makes checking for compliance as easy as possible for restaurants. The end goal is to simplify this element to allow restaurants to focus on being restaurants.
