
Robinhood Platinum Card
Robinhood has launched a new credit card. Unlike the existing Gold card which has no annual fee, this one is made of platinum and will cost you $695 annually if you’re able to get it.
There’s no signup bonus mentioned in the information that has been released so far, but there is a long list of credits that Robinhood claims are worth $3,000 annually.
Let’s go over the details.
Earning Rates
The only thing we know so far is:
- Earn 5% cash back on dining
Travel Credits
- $300 Annual Travel Statement Credit for eligible travel purchases
- $150 every six (6) months.
- Eligible transactions include rideshare services, hotel charges, flights, and other travel-related purchases.
- You don’t need to bok through the Robinhood travel portal to be eligible.
- $500 Hotel Booking Credits via Robinhood Travel Portal
- $250 in statement credits for qualifying luxury hotel bookings per six-month period, with the option to use up to $100 of that credit toward standard hotel bookings.
- Qualifying hotels are identified in the App and must be booked through the Robinhood travel portal.
- Minimum two-night stay required.
- $250 Autonomous Rides Statement CreditÂ
- $20 monthly credit for autonomous ride purchases
- Extra $10 in December for a total of $30
- Priority Pass Select membership
- Unlimited lounge visits while enrolled.
Dining Benefits
- $250 Annual Dining Statement Credits at more than 15,000 eligible local restaurants
- $20 Monthly Credit
- Extra $10 in December for a total of $30
- $250 DoorDash discount and complimentary DashPass Membership
- Up to three (3) $10 off discounts each January and up to two (2) $10 off discounts in every other calendar month.
- You can only apply one discount per qualifying delivery order with a minimum subtotal of $50, excluding fees and taxes.
- Discount must be used in the calendar month in which it is issued.

Conclusion
Robinhood says that this $695 card will get you up to $3,000 in value annually. Looking at the long list of credits, maybe one or two of them may provide some actual value like the $300 travel credit.
The hotel credit could have some value but it seems that you need to book luxury stays to get the full credit. Dining credit has some value as well but we don’t know what restaurants are included and you only get $20 monthly.
It gets worse from there with things like the DoorDash credit that comes as a $10 discount on $50+ orders, up to 25 times a year.
