Chase Will Open a New Sapphire Lounge in Phoenix
Last June, Chase announced its network of Sapphire Lounges. We already know of the first four locations in Boston, New York (LGA), Hong Kong, and San Diego. JPMorgan Chase is bringing these lounges to its customers in collaboration with the industry experts in global airport lounges and experiences, Airport Dimensions.
And now there’s a fifth location at at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The latest Sapphire Lounge location was revealed in documents from the City of Phoenix and first reported by TPG.
The Phoenix Sapphire Lounge with be located at the new eight-gate facility in Terminal 4. This concourse is set to open in the summer of 2022. It will be the home of Southwest with a connector bridge to the north concourses.
The lounge will occupy a space of 3,500 square feet. According to Phoenix Airport board meeting documents Capital One and American Express were also interested to lease it for new lounges.
No opening date has been set yet for the latest Sapphire Lounge, but Chase and Airport Dimensions could start work as soon as February.
