Southwest Extends Schedule Till October 1, 2019, Adds New Routes
Southwest Airlines announced its latest schedule extension with the addition of two weekend-only seasonal routes.
Southwest opened up their schedule through October 1, 2019. That means you get about 8 months worth of window to book! That includes all summer and early fall.
Southwest usually announces new and dropped routes during its regular schedule updates. This time around there’s no dropped routes but they have added new seasonal routes. USA Today reports that the new nonstop options will connect the Texas airports of Dallas Love Field and Corpus Christi as well as Richmond, Virginia, and Tampa, Florida.
Conclusion
Check out the extended schedule and start thinking about your next vacation. Since Southwest will refund you the difference if the price drops, it is generally good to get in early for flights during those peak times.
Happy booking!
