American Express has a new offer for its Marriott Bonvoy cardmembers. You can earn extra points for your everyday spend. It is not a great offer by any means, but it can be useful if you plan to put a lot of spend on your Amex Marriott Bonvoy credit cards. Let’s see the details.
The Offer
Earn 7,500 bonus points after you spend $7,500 or more in combined eligible purchases on your Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card or Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card from 6/15/2022 through 8/15/2022. Maximum of 7,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points can be earned through this offer.
Key Terms
- Eligible purchases include purchases made by Basic Card Member and any Additional Card Members on a single Card account.
- Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of traveler’s checks, person-to-person payments, the purchase or reloading of prepaid cards, and purchases of other cash equivalents.
- Points will post to your Marriott Bonvoy member account up to 12 weeks after the end of each month.
Conclusion
Marriott Bonvoy points are not very valuable. So earning just one extra point at best, it not a great spending offer. But it can be useful if you plan on spending $7,500 or more with one of your American Express Marriott Bonvoy credit cards. That could be the case for those working towards a welcome offer, or a free night.
