SPG Business Amex Targeted Spending Offer
American Express released a ton of new Amex offers today. Some are widely available and some are targeted. While my favorite offer of the day is the Android Pay deal, many other decent ones are available. Danny covered them earlier.
Among the new offers in my account today though was a targeted spending offer on my SPG Business card. Let’s take a look!
The Offer
Use your Card from now through June 30th, 2017 and earn 10,000 Starpoints® after making $10,000 in eligible purchases by June 30th, 2017.
Key Terms
- Purchases must be made on your Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card starting from the date that you complete your enrollment and ending on June 30th, 2017.
- Qualifying purchases can be made by the Basic Card Member and any Additional Card Members on a single Card account. Additional Card Members on your account are not eligible for this offer. This offer is non-transferable.
- Qualifying purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents.
Analysis
SPG Starpoints are quite valuable and are generally worth very close to $.02 each in my opinion. This deal basically means I am earning close to $.04 value (2X) on all spend with the card if I spend $10,000.

I get a 404 error when I try to login to the page you linked, however if I login to the AMEX website, then visit the link it tells me I’m not targeted, so you might have to login separately first!
You are so lucky! I never get any of these spending offers!
