Starbucks Visa Checkout Promo

Starbucks is offering a $10 bonus with the purchase of a $10 or more gift cards when you pay with Visa Checkout. This means that a:

  • $10 card becomes $20
  • $20 card becomes $30
  • etc.

Of course, it is probably best to just purchase a $10 card given you get the same bonus. Doing this will result in a 50% discount.

How to Do it

  • Second, purchase a minimum $10 Starbucks Card eGift for yourself, a friend or family member using Visa Checkout

Key Terms

  • Limit 1 per person.
  • Limit of 325K bonuses.
  • Promotion runs from 5/3 – 5/17 or until it reaches max redemptions.

Full terms here.

My Experience

I just bought a $10 eGift card to see what would happen. While the bonus didn’t show anywhere on the purchase screen, my email receipt reflected it. Additionally, the eGift card came within seconds and was for the full $20. I then transferred it to my main gift card linked to my Starbucks account and that was it. Very simple and easy.

Free Slurpee

Oh I promised you a free slurpee too didn’t I? This weekend you can get a free Diet Coke Frost with a Splash of Cherry Slurpee (what a name) at 7-11 according to PDX Deals Guy. To get your coupon visit this link and input your phone number.

Conclusion

I am not a huge Starbucks person, but I figure it is nice to have a small balance just in case I want to stop in from time to time. Starbucks and Visa Checkout have made this super easy, so I would suggest not waiting. 325K redemptions are a lot, but there are a lot of Starbucks crazies out there as well. Happy shopping and don’t forget your slurpee!
