T-Mobile Money Account Now Available Nationwide
T-Mobile’s new mobile banking platform is now available nationwide. They first rolled it out as a pilot program about four months ago. The mobile-first checking account is called T-Mobile Money, and it’s an option worth considering if you’re a T-Mobile customer. It has no fees and offers a 4% APY on balances up to $3,000. Everything above that will earn 1% APY. You need to deposit at least $200 each month to get that rate.
The app also has other options that you expect nowadays from banking platforms. You can transfer money, make mobile check deposits, pay bills, send checks and even pay with mobile wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
T-Mobile created the service in partnership with BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank. It comes with a Mastercard debit card that account holders can use to pay for purchases or for withdrawals at 55,000 Allpoint ATMs worldwide. Yo use the account, you can either go to the website, or download the Android and iOS app.
