Amazon Citi ThankYou Promotion Prime Day 2022

As Prime Day drags on, we have yet another way you can save on Amazon. I have detailed the current Pay with Points promos in our Prime Day master thread, but another one has surfaced for Citi that could get you 40% off. Let’s take a look.

New Citi Amazon Pay with Points Promotion

If you have a card that earns Citi ThankYou points linked to your Amazon account then you may be targeted with this new promo.

The Offer

Get 40% off eligible purchases when you shop with Citi ThankYou® Points. Must activate promotion before making a purchase. Maximum discount $20. Here’s how it works:

  • Click on the “Activate promotion” button on the promotion page (affiliate link)
  • Shop eligible products. You’ll be able to apply this promotion to multiple purchases, up to a total discount of $20.
  • Use at least 1 Citi ThankYou Point at checkout.
  • 40% discount will be automatically applied on the final order checkout page if the items in your order are eligible for the promotion.

Here are a few other pay with points promos that you may be targeted for. I have used both the Chase and Amex versions in the past couple of days to save money on household stuff we needed and even an Apple gift card.

Amazon Citi ThankYou Promotion Prime Day 2022 – Bottom Line

You may be targeted to save money on Amazon by redeeming just one point. I normally just redeem the minimum and then use my card for the rest, since redeeming on Amazon isn’t a good deal. That is unless they are paying you do it!
