Citi ThankYou Points Transfer Bonuses
There are two new Citi ThankYou Points transfer bonuses available that can make your miles and points go a bit further. That gives us a total of eight currently active transfer bonuses available right now across all point currencies. More is always better for transfer bonuses, and we have a plethora of options right now.
Wyndham Transfer Bonus
First up is the Wyndham transfer bonus. I think this one will be the more useful option of the two for most. Although, even with this bonus it doesn’t touch the new Wells Fargo transfer rate to Wyndham Rewards.
- 25% transfer bonus when you transfer your Citi ThankYou points to Wyndham
- Ends 6/13/26
The bonus will give you 1.25 Wyndham points per Citi ThankYou point. If you find a hotel booking for 1 cent per point in value, or above, then you are doing pretty good here. (HT DoC)
Preferred Hotels I Prefer Bonus
Next up is the Citi ThankYou Points to I Prefer transfer bonus. This is a partner that Citi recently devalued the transfer rate on. Even with this increased rate you still come nowhere near what Citi ThankYou Points used to offer in terms of value here.
- 30% transfer bonus when you transfer your Citi ThankYou points to the I Prefer program.
- Ends 6/13/26
With this bonus you will get 2.6 points per Citi ThankYou Point. That is well below the 4 to 1 ratio we used to get, even with no transfer bonus attached.

Citi ThankYou Points Transfer Bonuses: Final Thoughts
I am guessing most people that use the I Prefer program did a speculative transfer before the 1 ThankYou point to 4 I Prefer points transfer ratio ended. That makes this offer less enticing, unless you have a last minute booking and no points in your account. Wyndham, on the other hand, could be pretty useful for anyone that doesn’t have Wells Fargo points to play around with.
