Targeted CitiBusiness AAdvantage Spending Offer

One thing (the only thing?) Citi does really well is sending their card holders targeted spending offers.  They do it often for ThankYou cards and sometimes for American Airlines cards but they are usually for the personal cards.  This is the first time I can remember seeing one on their AAdvantage business card.  Thanks to Bethany Walsh for sharing the offer with us!

Details of the Offer

The terms for the offer are as follows:

  • Use your card to earn 5 AAdvantage® miles per $1 spent
  • Up to 2,500 miles
  • Through 07/31/2019 on eligible purchases at
    • Computer & Electronics Stores

Essentially 5X earning on her next $500 in spend at computer and electronics stores. This would most likely include Best Buy which is awesome.  You can purchase gift cards there and earn Shopkicks, Best Buy Rewards, and get 5X AA miles.

Conclusion

I am happy to see these offers extend to the business cards as well.  Remember that the Citi AAdvantage credit card is the only card to earn a bonus on PayPal Digital Gifts purchases anymore.

  1. I got a different offer on my Barclays AA business card.

    “Spend $2000 per month or more May, June, July and we’ll give you a bonus 1K miles for each month + meet the spending goal 3 months in a row and receive an additional 2K miles” – 5K miles total.

    If I MS it I see it as 11K miles for roughly $72. Not to bad I suppose.
