Top Cashback Sweet Treats Sweepstakes
If you have been using the Top Cashback portal over the past few days then you may have noticed something different. If you visit certain pages on the site a little birdie will show up. If you click it, then you get a “Sweet Treat”. The bird is part of Top Cashback’s Sweet Treat Giveaway.
Here is how it works:
To take part in the competition simply login to your account and keep your eyes peeled for our flying hummingbird as you browse the best deals of the TopCashback website from one day to the next.
Once you spot a hummingbird, just click him to reveal your mystery treat!
Some treats may form part of a bigger collection to unlock a bigger cash prize, others may contain an extra entry into the $1,000 Mega Prize Draw
We’ll also be posting daily cryptic clues on our Facebook & Twitter pages, giving you the chance to find out where and when you can find more hummingbirds! Once you’ve caught the hummingbird connected to today’s daily clue, there will still be more to find so keep looking!
As you collect these sweet treats, you’ll either win progress towards a cash prize or an entry into their main prize giveaway. At first it seems like you get decent progress towards prizes, but as you get more birds it seems you get more contest entries than instant win prizes.
Instant Win prizes consist of:
- 3x $100
- 3x $50
- 6x $25
- 50x $5
- 500x $2
- 1000x $1
- 2000x $0.50
They will also have a $1,000 megadraw at the end of the promotion. The promotion runs through December 12, 2015.
This is probably a huge time suck and most likely isn’t worth the time invested to find the birds, but it is sort of fun I guess. My wife is currently 2/3 of the way to a $10 prize so that is something. I would probably recommend clicking on the birds during your regular shopping adventures instead of clicking around their site trying to find the prizes. It could turn into a huge time suck.
I always search for the best rates and find that Top Cashback often has them. They have been one of the more consistent portals for me and thus I don’t mind giving them my business when they are paying well. While I definitely wouldn’t recommend getting lost on their site trying to find the birds, it probably wouldn’t hurt to click on them if you happen to run across them as part of your normal shopping!
